About Lewis & Clark Library

The Lewis & Clark Library is a public library system headquartered on South Last Chance Gulch in downtown Helena. Besides the main branch, the system runs branches in East Helena, Lincoln and Augusta plus a bookmobile that serves rural Lewis and Clark County. The main branch has community rooms, study rooms, a 3D printer available for public use, and a redesigned children's area with a Sleeping Giant theme.

The main branch is open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Branch hours vary by location and are shorter; check lclibrary.org before visiting a branch. All library programs are free and open to the public. The building has street parking and a lot off Last Chance Gulch; it is wheelchair accessible.
