About Carroll College
Carroll College is a private Catholic college at 1601 N Benton Ave on the hill north of downtown, next to the Great Northern Town Center. Beyond its academic calendar, the campus is one of Helena's largest event sites. The Guadalupe Lawn holds the Helena Symphony's Symphony Under the Stars each July, which the college says draws close to 18,000 people. Nelson Stadium, home to Fighting Saints football and soccer since 2001 and fitted with synthetic turf and lights in 2024, also hosts graduations and community sports, and the FLEX Theatre in the lower level of the Campus Center stages student productions open to the public.
Campus parking is in lots off Benton Avenue, and the Great Northern Town Center parking garage is next to campus. Symphony Under the Stars and the Alive at Five campus date are free. Football and soccer tickets are sold through carrollathletics.com. Theatre tickets are sold through the college's theatre ticket page, with FLEX shows on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. The public events calendar at carroll.edu/news-events can be subscribed to by Google Calendar, iCal or RSS.
