About Helena's Alive @ Five
Alive @ Five is a free weekly summer concert series organized by Lewis & Clark Brewing Co. and Rocky Mountain Credit Union. Organizers describe it as a community staple for more than 20 years. Rather than a fixed venue, the series rotates through downtown Helena and nearby spots each Wednesday, past 2026 locations include the Lewis & Clark Tap Room, the Capitol Building lawn, Last Chance Gulch at Lawrence Street, the Carroll College lawn by the Athletic Center, Women's Park and Main Street Park in East Helena. Each week features a different local or regional band and benefits a different local nonprofit.
The 2026 season runs ten Wednesdays, June 17 through August 19, from 5pm to 8pm. Admission is free. Food comes from Helena food trucks, and beer is available given the Lewis & Clark Brewing Co. sponsorship. Because the location changes weekly, checking aliveatfivehelena.com or the event's Facebook page for that week's address before heading out is worth doing, some weeks are in downtown parks within walking distance of Last Chance Gulch, others are at the Tap Room on Dodge Avenue or across town in East Helena.
